I am a new member to this list. I am looking to make contact with family of my uncle JAMES EDWARD McDONALD, born London, England, 1880 (and his wife BESSIE nee DAVIES ), who emigrated from Birkenhead, Cheshire, England before the start of WW1 and settled in HUXLEY, Alberta. If anyone could give me a local contact in the HUXLEY area (Family History Society, Register Office, Library, etc) that would help my search, I would be most grateful.
