My mother who is a Beauvilliers has just realized that her ggggfather was a Massé married to a Guevremont and that her gggggfather was a Macé-Beauvilliers married to a Desorcy. Then, her ggggggggfather was a Massé-Beaumier. I have seen this name "Marguerite Massé" written as Marguerite "Mace". Just hope that this will help. p.s. All those families were from St.Cuthbert, Berthier, Ile Dupas and Cap de la Madeleine, P.Quebec.
