    3. Saturday December 15, 2001 Angus Alexander McDonald July 18, 1915 - September 25, 2001 Peacefully, at St. Joseph's Hospital on Tuesday, September 25, 2001, Angus, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Alice Marie Mattice. Dearly loved father of Mary Ann and husband Phil, Peter and wife Beverley, Roderick and wife Sharon, Katherine and husband John, Jane and husband Peter, Shelagh and husband Ed, daughter-in-law Diana, and predeceased by son John. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Christine, Jennifer, Shannon, Meaghan, Erin, Jeffrey, Dwayne, Shantelle, Lauren, Ian, Amanda, Brandon, Alex, Erica, and great-grandson Jacob, and predeceased by grandson David. Dear brother of Hugh and wife Avis, Duncan, Alex and wife Kaye, also survived by sisters-in-law Mary, Eileen, Corinne, and many nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. McDonald was a Professional Engineer (Mechanical) retiring from Canadian Westinghouse and Burlington Public Libraries. After retirement he continued his profession with the Sisters of St. Joseph. Angus has a lifetime and strong volunteer commitment to church and community (St. Joseph's Health Care; Mohawk Laundry Services; Jr. Achievement; Board of Governors Cathedral High Schools; Ancaster Public School Board; and St. Ann's Parish). Veteran of WWII serving with the Royal Canadian Navy. Friends will be received at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson Street East, Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service from St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Ancaster, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre. Donations to St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation, or Sisters of St. Joseph's (Hamilton Congregation) if desired, would be appreciated.
