Soon after they had this published, more boxes of these pre 1905 files showed up at the Provincial Archives of Alberta. By then a new body "The Alberta's Documentary Heritage Society" at the Archives was stated and they did this second volume, but it's not called volume 2 and not sold by AGS. And it's called "index to Registration of Births, Marriages and Deaths pre 1900" isbn 0-9683255-1-3. I do not have this 2nd one, but phoned the AGS library. let me know and I'll find out how and where this can be purchased.
