Terrific - thank you so much. Question is; your response came 1 hr. and 20 mins. after I had posted. However did you do that? When trying to find my Albert WAITE, using both the collectionsCanada site where there are 191 ships for 1906 and 658 ships for 1907 from Liverpool alone to plough through (I have covered 120 so far and there are still other ports to search) I have had no success. I have also almost used up all my credits on findmypast.com where you can search by name. Only two Alberts, neither of them mine, several initial A, ditto, nor any sight of his wife and child. Obviously, I am doing something wrong. Should also mention that I have covered the eastern U.S. seaports. Any ideas welcome. June
