I haven't checked with the Lethbridge Branch of the AGS yet. It's a branch of the family that is related by marriage, so I didn't want to really impose too much. I really am only interested in finding out the mother's maiden name, but it has been sending me on a wild goose chase. According to a Lethbridge Newspaper, Hughena's sister passed away in 1923 and it also mentioned two brothers. With this information I was then able to find them all in the census in Alberta, but Hughena was already married so she was not with the family. I was thinking because the two youngest daughters were born in Alberta that the book may give the maiden name. Not all is lost though because in another query which you gave me the death date of Archie MCLEAN, I was then able to find him listed in the IGI with his wife Mary MCKENZIE and that death date was also listed. It was a patron submission so it could be wrong. I'll use with a grain of salt :-) Thanks again for all your help. Bye for now.
