Your last name matches that of twin girls born in San Francisco on the same day as my mother and, according to info provided by California, my mother's birth mother had family and/or was born in Washington. That same info indicates that she had a sister named Dorene who would have been born between 7/1941 & 9/1942. Any chance this could be you?
