Oh my oh my JL..........CHILL!!! I don't think you will get much pity here on this list.....I don't think off of any list that was trying to accomplish something that is so important to people. Personally I don't have any interest in genealogy in Canada......my are all abroad but I subscribe to this in hopes to help people that need info from my area. I think a big HURRAY should be given to those "mad campaigners" for all their efforts, hard work and diligence in trying to achieve something that would benefit many. Maybe there is no benefit to you? I see you are on this list....you would not benefit from these census records being released? This is exactly the place to have this.....its where the people are, the people who need this info and for the benefit of the people on this list and many others who are in search of the same goals.....to complete yet again another branch on the tree. Its people collectively who will see this happen, as it is with ANY volunteer on any list, community or city. You know the old saying its 20% of the people doing for the people? I think the people heading this fight and doing this work and keeping everyone informed should be thanked and appreciated for their time and efforts. Thank you to them for giving of themselves so that so many others will benefit. Cheers to Mr. Watts and any others for their efforts!!!! I never believed the government should have the control they seem to have over our families records anyway. That info belongs to the people and the families and should be accessible to us. And lastly, if its of no benefit to you, I question why you are on the list then and why you can't just hit the delete key....every keyboard has one. Elaine in Alberta, Canada
