He was originally bapt James Gillett, l866 in Pouch Cove, Nfld. Between Nfld. and B.C. the surname was changed, some other relatives go by either Gillett or Gillott. I haven't heard of a Ben mentioned in the family, but would you know of other Christian names, perhaps there may be a connection? Bess
