I'm told Robert was killed in 1916, and was from Wales. I have reason to believe he was from Wales and worked in Saskatchewan. I got a list of all Robert Hughes's from Canadian Forces killed in WW1, this I got from the War Graves Commission. There is a Robert Hughes on the list from Wales, but the trouble is it shows he was killed in June, a month before you say he enlisted?? Can send you more info.. Please reply Sincerely Wendell Hughes
