Just a line of thought regarding my ever elusive Gt Grandfather, Walter SCOTT - bn 1867 in Cambridgeshire, U.K. and disappeared abt 1905 to, the family believe, Canada. If I were to try and track down a will left by Walter SCOTT [from abt 1920 onwards, I'd say]; do all the Canadian provinces have searchable indexes of wills and probate - either on-line or on microform, etc. I know about the British Columbia Vital Stats index - just wondered if the other provinces did the same. This is a line of research I hadn't thought of before, so grateful for comments and advice, as always.
