Hello fjmellen, Like you I received numerous messages from Darryl Taylor and found it annoying. Because it was an on going issue for me, that is - more messages every time I logged on, I was hoping that the List Administrator would soon unsubscribe him. This finally happened and life is now peaceful once again. It is obvious that his email software is limited or that he failed to set a parameter that checked to see if his out-of-office message had already been sent to a specific address. This would have avoided his email program form responding to every message sent to the List including his own response to his own response .... Like a dog chasing its tail. Darryl Taylor probably had no intention of causing the problem he did and he is certainly embarrassed about it. I don't know the fellow so it's just an assumption. There are a lot of things with emails that are annoying - bad spelling, bad grammar, bad manners so it doesn't help to get upset. It only generates unwholesome vibration for you and those around you. Which means as each email comes in I have to enter all the new info in my files, which slows down my being able to get to all my email coming in. It has gotten to the point I am bypassing list mail to just answer all the new info emails that are coming it. My box is groaning under the load!! Alll I did was put a private personal ged.com up on ancestry. Since it is private the whole thing doesn't go up, but the dead people do. It certainly developed something. I phoned the Toronto Sun and suggested to them his computer be checked and should any person's computer crash because of their advertising, we would send them the bill. The reply - "We will see to this immediately" Good thing I have worked with all men in my life -- in a newspaper. There could have been a setting on his computer that caused this.
