Personally I have not found the resource providing the search by name through the whole semetries in Canada. In my plans it is to find the places of work of these people to send enquiries for their contact details. This variant seems to be the quickest one but I am not shure in the efficiency. Simple postal mailing will take much time to wait without any guarantee of the delivery.

Surnames: Maria GRETZINGER, Albert MEDING Classification: Cemetery Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TNC.2ACI/4350 Message Board Post: My name is Oleg Dzyuba. I am 34. I live in Ukraine, Luhansk region, Krasnodon. I am writing to get some assistance and help in the search of descendants of Maria GRETZINGER, born Gretsinger in Bausk of Kurland province, nowadays Latvia, in the family of Johann GRETZINGER. Maria GRETZINGER's brother, Julius Johann GRETZINGER, was born 26 December, 1881 in Bausk of Kurland province (Russia). He was shot dead by Bolsheviks on Javkino station for his refusal not to join the Red Army in 1919. Mary Meding, living in the village Noimanovka, Zhitomir region (Ukraine) together with her husband left for Canada in 1921, where she bought the land and farmed. From her only letter, received by my grandmother Efrosinia Kazimirovna Gretsinger, it is known that the youngest Mary's daughter died on the steamship during their crossing the Atlanic Ocean. Mary Meding and her family were pleased with the immigration. The contact of my mother's aunt Tamara Julievna GRETZINGER with Mary Meding's was lost because of the repressions' threat for communication with abroad. The grandson of Julius Johann GRETZINGER, Igor GRETZINGER is also in search. Here is the family-tree of Johann GRETZINGER Johann GRETZINGER: Julius Maria + Efrosinia: + Mr. Meding: ______________ _______________ Tamara 6 children (?) + Foma ___________ _______ ? Seva Igor +Nina +Joanna ? _____ __________ ______ Iriny Oleg Dzyuba Anna +Vasiliy +Helen _____ _________ Seva Marina Would you kindly tell me on this address if you know anything about the destiny of Mary Meding and her descendants or suggest me a service or authority where we can apply for help. If you know people with the surname Meding or GRETZINGER, please let me know. Thank you in advance. Best regards, Oleg Dzyuba! e-mal: oleg.dzyuba'@'mail.ru Tel.: + 380506369319

    3. To all readers:- The latest standing of all provinces is at follows:- ALBERTA....................49.62% BRITISH COLUMBIA.....59.89% MANITOBA..................85.72% ONTARIO....................97.90% QUEBEC,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,80.83% SASKATCHEWAN......56.11% Others - 100% includes Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Yukon and Northwest Territories. Labrador is included in Northwest Territories -- Don Tate and his group of Grand Banks site workers are constructing a 1911 census of Newfoundland. Any reader may assist in transcribing -- all one has to do is open up http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ Do not worry about pages that have a black number == the ones we need to check might be numbered like this 365/700 >From the QUESTIONS -- We do not need to insert a missing line in the proper place, but may add it at the bottom of page, as long as the correct page number and family number is given. [So far this evening I have added missing lines to three pages] Ontario seems to be "stuck" at 97% -- we had better watch out for Manitoba and Quebec! If there are any questions, check the QUESTIONS or ask either there or contact me -- if I do not know the answer I will find it. Muriel M.
