Eugenia, There are a couple of mentions of Orr and Ellis in letters written by John Daniel Leslie from Union Springs to his wife and son in Birmingham in 1912. The sons had moved to Birmingham from Union Springs and their mother was on an extended visit with them there. Hugh, what you reckon? Little Joe Ellis is to be married to Miss Baskin in a few days."
