Hi, List! I am a new subscriber and would like to request your help in locating any information about my GGGrandmother, Anariah THOMAS, and her family. I have just learned that a Joseph THOMAS, of Barbour County, purchased land in Alabama in September 1, 1858. I would like to know if he appeared on the 1850 and/or 1860 census in Barbour County, and if so, who is listed as living in his household. My GGGrandmother's maiden name was Anariah THOMAS. I would like to know if this Joseph THOMAS is her father. Also, would like to know names of her siblings and her mother. Anariah Thomas married my GGGrandfather, Gabriel Kettner, in Alabama June 9, l860. I do not know where they were married nor do I know where their first son, Cephus Bascom Kettner, was born. I know this is a lot of information, but thought if I share what I know, it may help someone out there to help me with the missing info.
