Bizzle, Curtis 13 Sep 1825 Uriah Sowell m. Meadows, Elizabeth 2 Jan 1846 There are a few other SOWELL marriages in other parts of the state, but nothing that looks like it fits your Ms. Lou. Barbara This A. G. Glover is one of my bunch. (don't you just hate it when they want to use initials). This is Alfred G. Glover son of Eli S. Glover and Annie Jane Corbitt Glover. On the 1860 census it shows Eli, Annie and a bunch of kids. Eli was Annie's second husband, now what I need to know is who is Mrs. Lou Sowell listed as half sister. Is the sister of Alfred G. Glover that was named Tallulah or is it a half sister from the Corbit marriage. Does anyone have any information on this lady. Could someone do a marriage look up for me, hopefully there would be a marriage record to for the Sowell and could move backwards if she has been married more than once. I am in hopes that this is Tallulah Glover sister to Nathan O'Neal, John and Franklin P. Glover. 1935 obit Dale County Mr. Mathison was united in marriage in 1904 to Miss Maldra C. Dowling, who, with five of the six children born of the union, survives him -- one daughter, the eldest, Lois, -- dying some half-score years ago. Remaining relatives include a brother, C. E. Mathison, of this place; another brother, J. L. Mathison of Skipperville, Ala., and a sister, Mrs. Mary Searcy, likewise of that city. A half-sister, Mrs. Lou Sowell, lives in Defuniak, and a half-brother, A. G. Glover, resides at Daleville, Ala. Thanks, Margie >>
