Here is the scoop on the Barbour Book. It is over folks!!! No more submissions. I spoke to Mrs. Richards today and she said they had over 1200 submissions. But it is not too late to get the pre-publication price. If you cannot pick up the book the price will be $63.00 if you can pick it up at the library in Eufaula it is $59.00. The pre-publication will also put what ever name you want in gold on the front. If you wait the price will be $79.00. These prices will be good until Aug. 31, 2000. Mrs. Richards is requesting that the pre price deadline be extended until the last day of Sept. If you had folks in Henry and Geneva you are in luck you still have time to get their stories in.
