Eli C. Glover said that Nathan O'Neal had a big dog and a little girl and the little girl died and they came back to Alabama to Grandad's old place( the year is not yet known) that Uncle Frank got grandad's old place, there was an empty house on the Hawkins old place and that Nathan and his family moved into the empty house. They had to get written permission to leave the state of Georgia because of the fever that was in Georgia and New Orleans. Uncle Frank died in 1891 . This is taken from oral history of my grandfather Eli C. Glover. He is speaking of his father Nathan O'Neal Glover. I believe this place to be near Blue Springs. Does anyone know anything about the Hawkins old place. This could be Henry or Barbour county since it is near the border. Thanks, Margie
