Would very much appreciate hearing from anyone on the Barbour County list with any information on my ancestor, Larkin Armstrong. He moved to Barbour County from Houston County Georgia in 1836; served as a deputy quartermaster for the Alabama militia serving in Eufaula (then Irwinton) in 1836 and 1837. He was still living in Barbour County with his family as of the time of the Census of 1850; that year he moved to Randolph County Georgia. His first wife died during the time he was living in Barbour County and I would really love to know her name. His family is as follows: 1 Larkin S.
