    3. Eufaula Times & News 1891 Hon. Americus C. Mitchell, Sr., age 73, died of dropsy at hii home in Glennville, (Russell Co., Ala.). He was the father of Dr. W. A. Mitchell and A. C. Mitchell, Jr., of Eufaula. Mr. Chas. Chestnut, pioneer citizen of Stewart Co., (Ga.) a: at his home near Florence, (Ga.) on Jan. 22nd. His years numberea four score and three. He will be buried with Masonic honors.- Lumpkin (Ga.) Independent , 24th. Capt. Thomas Swanson, aged about 57, died at his home at Cowikee, (Barbour Co.) Friday. He leaves a wife and five children Mr. W. C. Swanson, of Eufaula and. Mrs. W. C. Thornton being the oldest. Mrs. Mollie B. Lucas, wife of W. C. Lucas in Henry Co., (Ala. died on the 13th inst. She was born Oct. 3rd, 1869, and was the daughter of John and Jane Davis She married Mr. Lucas Dec. 12th, 1889. Thure. Feb. 5, 1891 Mrs • W • A. Cary died Wednesday last, also Mrs. B. W • Ball, died in Nontgcinery, Ala. Capt. Herman Kermeworth, aged 65 years, died in Montgomery on Wednesday. He had been a resident of that city for 40 years. Mr. Jack Johnson, for many years a citizen of Henry Co., Al. living near Abbeville, but removed to Dale Co., not long since, died at Daleville on Sunday. Burial yesterday at Ozark. He was the father of Mrs. S. B. Sheehan, of Eufaula. Mrs • Thos • J. Reynolds, age about 24, died at her mother’s in Glennville on Sunday. She was the daughter of Col. A. C. Mitchell. She was a bride of a year or two. Mr. John N. Dewitt died at his home at Geneva, (Ala.) of heart disease yesterday. He lived in Eufau].a before the war. He was brother-in-law to Capt. John C. NoNab, of Eufaula. He leaves a wife and three children. Joseph Hillman, aged 35 or 40, of Gak Grove, Quitiman Co., (Ga died Friday of congestion of the bowels • Be had married the second time. He leaves a wife and seven children and two brothers. Mr. Saab Ramsey, merchant of union Springs, (Ala.) died with- in the last few days. Mrs. H. J. Price, of Beicher, (Barbour Co.) died yesterday of typhoid pneumonia. She leaves a husband and four children. Mrs • B • W. Flowers died at Dothan, (Ala.) Thursday of pneumonia. She had Just moved to that town. She leaves a husband and five children. Burial in Lawrenceville, her old ho... Thurs. Feb. 12, 1891 Mr. William Barry, age 65, died with pneumonia at his home in Barbour County, Alabama.
