I am looking for information on the outfit that Joseph J. Floyd was in during the Civil War. He was the son of Theophilus Floyd Sr. and was born Nov. 7, 1835, died July 31, 1862 at the Battle of Richmond. He married Sarah Butts on Dec. 17, 1856. After he died, she married Abner Pickett. I always thought maybe Joseph was in the 39th as was his brother, Theophilus Jr. but they were at Chickamauga. Thanks! JONI
