    3. Homer, Don't know what happened to Juan F. He was still in Barbour in 1860, but then he disappears from my Barbour records. GTT (Gone to Texas)?? There are two CSA WELLBORN graves in Fairview that my notes show do not have first names. Do you know who they are? Juan F. was the son of Johnston (Johnson) WELLBORN (born c. 1796 GA - died by Sept 1857 Barbour Co) and his first wife (unknown). Johnston's second wife - Elizabeth ?, born c. 1820 in GA. 1850 Barbour census: WELLBORN, Johnston 56 m GA Elizabeth 30 f GA Catherine S. 19 f GA Juan F. 17 m GA Rollin S.A. 16 m GA William R. 16 m GA Felix G. 5 m AL Genatus 3 f AL Victoria 3/12 f AL Missouri, born c. 1852 AL (1860 census) I know Levi T. WELLBORN, father of Maximilliam, was somehow related to Gen William Wellborn - not sure how. Would assume that Johnston Wellborn was a brother/cousin of Levi T., but not positive. Mrs. Godfrey says "the Wellborn family came from England to Jamestown, VA in 1609, later migrated to Accomack Co, VA, N.C. and Wilkes Co, GA". Sorry I could not be of more help. Will keep an eye out for Juan.
