    3. Eufaula Times 1891 Thurs. May 28, 1891 Mrs. B. P. Tatum died at her home near Clio, Barbour, Co., On the 21st inst. She leaves a husband and four children. Thur, June 4, 1891 Judge M. B. Green died at his home in Ft. Gaines, Ga., on the 23rd, He was born and raised in Burke Co., Ga. He settled in Henry Co., (Ala.) about 1843. Soon afterwards he married Miss Elizabeth Chambers. His wife died in 1887. Thurs • June 11, 1891 Miss Martha B. Davis, age 80, died at the home of her brother- in-law, Mr. John Marks, in Macon, Ga. Burial in Eufaula yesterday. Mr. Richard Bishop, about 60 years old, of Spring Hill in Barbour County, (Ala.) died Sunday • He was a’ brother to the late Bo].and Bishop. Mrs. W. P. Wilkereon died at Midway, (Ala.) after a long illness and was buried today. Mr. Joseph S. Powell, aged 76, died at his home near Hurts- boro, (Ala.) on Monday. He has two living children, Mr. Sid Powell and Mrs. S. T. Margart. Mrs. Junius Plewellen, daughter of Capt. John H. Bass, died at her home at Orange Lake, Pla. last Friday. Deceased was raised at Glennville, Ala. Mrs. E. W. Hoquemore, age 77, of Howe, (Barbour Co.) died yesterday. She was the mother of Mr. J. W. Hoquemore, Mrs. G. Stovall and Mrs. T. H. Freeman and grandmother of Mr. Orbie Spurlock. Burial at Howe. Thurs. June 18, 1891 Mrs. Bradley, relict of Henry Bradley, died at her home in Clayton last Sunday with Cholera morbus. She leaves five children. Mrs • Jennie Davis Reed died recently at her home in Atlanta. She was the youngest daughter of Benjamin . B. Davis, of Eufaula. Mrs. Reed had been married eighteen months. Mrs. J. B. Mainor died at her home near Cuthbert, Ga., from pneumonia on Monday. Burial at Sheliman, (Ga.). Cuthbert (Ga.) Leader. Mrs. Margaret Wood, age 60, died at the old homestead in Quitman County, seven miles east of Georgetown, (Ga.) She had suffered with consumption. She was burled at the family burial grounds. Thurs. June 25, 1891 Cuthbert, Ga., June 20.- Mr. Arthur B. Barlett died yes- terday. He leaves a wife and a large family of children. Mrs. S. E. McNeill, mother of Mrs. Thomas W. Givens, died Friday in Jacksonville, Fla. Burial in Eufaula. Thurs. July 2, 1891 Mrs. Glover, wife of Ed. Glover, died at her home nine miles Southeast of Clayton on Thursday last. Clayton (Ala.) Courier. Mrs. Annie W. Wells, wife of Mr. Louis Wells, died in Eufaula yesterday. She leaves a husband and three children. Mrs. A. J. Galloway, who lived in Henry Co. near Cureton’s bridge, died recently. ThurS. July 9, 1891 The remains of Mr. Alex McLeod, aged 81, passed through Eufaula on the way from Terrill Co., Ga., to his old home at White Oak, (Barbour County). Thurs. July 23, 1891 Mr. C. W. Beale, brother-in-law to Mr. H. S. Eoddenberl of Eufaula, died in Nashville, Term., on July 17th. He leaves a wife. Mr. W. C. Espy, of Columbia, (Ala.) died recently. He leaves a wife, six daughters and five brothers. Thurs. July 30, 1891 Mr. J. A. Wright, aged 65, died last Saturday. He was the father of Dr. W. F. Wright. Clayton (Ala.) Courier. Mr. Thom. M. Borland, age 67, died at his home near Newton, (Dale Co.) Saturday. He came to Dale County from Jones County, Georgia in 1855.-Ozark (Ala.) Mrs. W. H. Stantifer died at her home in Eufaula yesterday. She leaves a husband and four children. ThurS. Aug. 6, 1891 Mrs. H. M. Wilson, wife of the editor of the Opelika (Ala) Industrial News, died recently. Mrs. N. K. Keyton died at Keyton Hotel in Dothan, (Ala.) on Monday. Burial in Arlington, Ga., her former home • She leaves a husband, J. T. Keyton, postmaster, and six child.ren. Dothan (Ala.) Miss Maggie Quillin, aged 18, daughter of E. B. and M. N. Quillin, of Clayton, (Ala.) died July 27th, 1891. Thurs. Aug. 13, 1891 Mr. Andrew Bates died in Atlanta yesterday. He was a son of Maj. W. N. Bates, of Ft. Browder, near Batesville, Ala. Mr. Amos Parker, one of the first settlers of Ozark, died at the home of his son there last Friday. Miss Willie Croft, age 17, daughter of Mr. John Croff, died at his home at Hatcher’s Station Friday. Mrs. Sandy Martin of Clayton died recently. Master John Quincy Rutland, age 11-, youngest son of Mr. W. W. and Martha Jane Rutland of White Oak, (Barbour Co.) died recently.
