I am pretty sure they are for the same guy because they both enlisted on the same day, and where the veteran's file leaves off (date), the widow's file picks up One if for a William BOOTH, Co A. 35th AL Inf, filed by his widow, L.L. BOOTH. I think the widow made a mistake. She also mentions that the name of William BOOTH's captain was H. P. LAMPLEY Synopsis of the widow's pension file: L.L. BOOTH ( Mrs. Lou Lupina Ludosia BOOTH), born 2 January 1861, daughter of Alfred THOMAS, who died in Butler Co, AL. L.L. married c. 1885 near Blue Springs, Barbour County, AL William BOOTH William BOOTH died 28 August 1917 at Laurel Hill, FL, near Florala, Paxton's Camp He was unable to work for the last ten years of his life, and his wife supported him by working. L.L. BOOTH was living with Louie EARLY in Samson, AL after the death of William. The other pension file is for a William BOOTH, Co. A. 45th AL Inf. Born in Henry Co, AL, listed his age as 65 in 1899, wounded at Chicamauga in right arm
