Thomas states that he is personally aquainted with Adam Haggler, and that he did served, and was honorably discharged card dated April 1899 listing personal property personal property 1 mule/horse ($40), 2 cattle ($10), 15 hogs ($20), 1 gun ($1), household and kitchen furniture ($15), mechanical and farming tools (1.50), dated 8 April 1899 Application for increase in pension dated 5 July 1906 (very hard to read) "This is to certify that I have examined Adam Haigler, a soldier now on pension roll, Class 2. As stated in former hand? certificate, he lost his left arm in battle. By straping himself to plow, he has used(?) his plow ? till three years ago. Now his right arm & shoulder have failed him, his legs no longer track - infeebled ? and work and continuous hard work.
