Sabrina, I did not see a Barbour marriage for a M.D., M, D, or any first name beginning with those letters to an Ellen. I also checked the Dale marriage book, which begins in 1885. Many of my Blue Springs area ancestors were probably married in Dale since I cannot find them in Barbour. The Dale courthouse, of course, burned in 1885. Very frustrating. They are buried at Old Bethel Primitive Baptist Church near Blue Springs. They somehow connect to the Anderson line that gave land to Anderson (SCHOOL) Baptist Church. >Thanks for looking, >Sabrina > > >==== ALBARBOU Mailing List ==== >Have you checked the Georgia Counties just across the river. Many of the Barbour residents came from, Crawford, Taylor, Randolph, Macon, Stewart Counties in Georgia just to mention a few. >
