I just found a very neat site if someone is looking for land patent information - in particular where the land is located. Go to: http://www.archives.state.al.us/counties.html Then click on the County Name. Once the next page is fully loaded, click on the county map (in the upper right corner). It is a basic map with range & township marked on the borders. Gives you a general idea of where any land may be. I had requested assistance with this information on a different patent.
