No, I haven't but I certainly will pursue this line. I am actually trying to find out if his wife, Anna, filed for a Pension. Didn't know if it would give me any information on her or not. She is the one I am really interested in as her daughter, from her first husband - a PASSMORE, is my great-great-grandmother. Thanks again! We looked for years before we found my GG Grandfather who supposedly died of measles. That is not what the diagnosis said. Anyway, it took my Mom several inquiries to locate him. Seems once he died, they simply said they had no record. She had to follow him through the months prior to his death in order to locate. Also received an amazing amount of information from the National Park service once we did locate his death record. This pertained to his burial. Good Luck and don't give up.
