Terri, In Nov 1863, Co E, 4th Bn, Hilliard's became co's E and D, 59th Ala Inf; when looking at Hilliard's, if you see one there, he will reappear in the 59th or 60th or 23d Bn Sharpshooters IF still w/ Hilliard's in Nov 1863; I have found on the index w/ Hilliard's a first and initial, then when shown on the subsequent units, initials only.
