Hi Homer, Yes 'tis true....my GrGrGrandfather, Willilam Marion Gilmore did not make it back; also his records are rather confusing (what little bit I have obtained). His widow received a pension but did not seem clear at all (according to applications) about his regiment(s)...... Thanks for your continued work. JohnGilmer
