    3. Homer, Yes that is her. William/L.L. moved around quite a bit - Barbour to Dale to Covington to Geneva. This is "Doris in Cleermont's" line, and it is connected to my HAGLER/LONG Barbour lines. William, according to his pension file, was a member of Camp Mace(?) Kinney(?) Camp, #1660, U.C.V., in Samson. 3. Homer, I think so also. His widow, Lou Ann, was confused, and it was entered under a separate pension file because she put 35th instead of 45th. 1. [ALBARBOU] BOOTH, William CSA pension
    2. Jim and Terri Tait
    3. Homer, Doris, There are two sets of CSA pension records for a William BOOTH. I am pretty sure they are for the same guy because they both enlisted on the same day, and where the veteran's file leaves off (date), the widow's file picks up One if for a William BOOTH, Co A. 35th AL Inf, filed by his widow, L.L. BOOTH. I think the widow made a mistake. She also mentions that the name of William BOOTH's captain was H. P. LAMPLEY Synopsis of the widow's pension file: L.L. BOOTH ( Mrs. Lou Lupina Ludosia BOOTH), born 2 January 1861, daughter of Alfred THOMAS, who died in Butler Co, AL. L.L. married c. 1885 near Blue Springs, Barbour County, AL William BOOTH William BOOTH died 28 August 1917 at Laurel Hill, FL, near Florala, Paxton's Camp He was unable to work for the last ten years of his life, and his wife supported him by working. L.L. BOOTH was living with Louie EARLY in Samson, AL after the death of William. The other pension file is for a William BOOTH, Co. A. 45th AL Inf. Born in Henry Co, AL, listed his age as 65 in 1899, wounded at Chicamauga in right arm

    1. [ALBARBOU] cemetery books
    2. Homer, Mrs. Slade called me back and told me that a fellow named Wallace Malone, who is associated with one of the banks in Eufaula put the information together. Mr.s Louanne Hart of Conner Lawrence was involved in getting them bound. Mrs. Slade said Mrs. Hart was going to cantact Mr. Malone and see if there was anyway it could be made available. The only other option I know of would be to copy all of the pages from the Godfrey surveys at the library in Eufaula. It is not a published or copywrighted work. The library has gone down some on the cost of their copying, I believe it is about 20 cents a page now as opposed to the 50 cents it used to be. I don't really know how many pages we are taling about either. I think the spreadsheets are in a better format for use however. We will see if Mrs. Slade gets back to me in the next day or so. 3. Richard, Thanks, appreciate it; would you know where a copy of the older records can be purchased? I have the records for Coffee, Dale, Henry and Pike, but have a need for Covington, Crenshaw and Geneva, and especially Barbour; if Bullock has not been surveyed in the last 3-4 years, none for that county exist. Thanks, Deo Vindice, Homer
