Samuel was born in Autauga to Evan Johnson and Sarah Lawborn 1856. He moved to Jefferson county, and shows up in the census there with a wife Mesia (1880), Meaci (1900), Mecie (1910), Macy (1920). They were the parents of 7 children: Mamie b. 1880, Charley b. 1883, Walter b. 1885, Edward b. 1887, Maggie b. 1888, Melvin b. 1891, and Samuel b. 1892. Any info would be appreciated.
