I has seen several references to Revolutionary War veterans who settled in Autagua County. The Alabama Society Sons of the American Revolution has undertaken a project to locate and document the graves of as many Revolutionary War Veterans as possible within our state. While there is considerable information published about these grave sites, most are listed as to Section, Range and Township. This project involves the plotting of the grave sites via GPS with the development of county maps with this information, along with the cemeteries within the county. This is an extremely long term project but some four counties have already been completed. I would like to hear from anyone who has information on such graves along with any war of 1812 veterans, as these to will also be plotted. John R.
