    3. Can anyone on this list give me a reference that would support the supposition that the father of Benjamin Franklin MILES, born August 11, 1813; died July 21, 1864; buried in MILES Cemetery, Lawsonville Community, Rusk County, Texas is Abraham MILES from Pike County, Alabama. Benjamin Franklin MILES married in Autauga County, May 6, 1847 to Sarah Albertine TATUM. They had a son, Albert B. MILES, M. D. whose tombstone in the same cemetery as Benjamin F. MILES states that he was born in Prattville, AL He was a noted surgeon who practiced at Tulane University, in Louisiana. Benjamin and his family is listed on the 1850 Autauga County, Census, Prattville, Washington Beat, page 19B, #274/285 MILES, Benjamin F., 36, Merchant, $5500.00, GA. 3. Hi Irma, I was interested in your MILES query.I have a William A MILES in Autauga County, AL whose young son, Noah MILES was born 1855 (tombstone in Oak Hill Cemetery) and died shortly after. This William married Julia Marie ROBINSON (sister of my direct ancestor E P ROBINSON) in AL. Julia was born in 1823. Could he have been a brother to your Benjamin Franklin MILES? I haven't been able to find any information on him in AL. Perhaps he moved to TX. Have you any information on William A MILES? Thanks-Sorry I can't help you in your quest.
