Lamar, A.C. Taylor & Wm. P. King were all appointed overseers of the local roads. Earlier 2/1844 Wyatt G. M. Golson & B.F. Law were also appointed overseers of the roads. I've been looking for some connection between these folks & would love to correspond w/ anyone working on these families. William P. King was born 1807 SC, married 1837 to Sally Arnold, widow of John F. Taylor. The AC Taylor mentioned above was Ashbeery Cooke Taylor, brother to JFT. I know that Dent Lamar married as his 2nd wife Sarah Elizabeth Laws, d/o Isaiah Laws & Sara Golson. Who was BF Laws? In 1855 Anna King, d/o William P. King & Sally Arnold, would marry an Augustus Laws. Who was he & was he related to the BF Laws or Isaiah Laws family? I find numerous mention of the Golsons in the guardian account records of Sally Arnold 's Taylor children. The Golsons are paid money from the account. Did they have a store?
