I can't find a connection to your Deaux family and my Deaux family yet. I am sure there is connection somewhere down the line. I can only trace my Deaux family back to my greatgreatfather, Joseph Deaux and 2 greatgrandfather, Augustus Deaux. Augustus was born in Missouri, according to FamilySearch, in 1815. Joseph Deaux was born in Tennessee in 1855. I think, but have not proved, that Augustus Deaux's father and mother may have been Jean Baptiste Deau and Angelique Brugiere. Jean Baptiste Deau is said to be from Canada. Angelique from Missouri. This Deaux family is my BRICK WALL. I would love to talk, hope we can connect our families.
