I check my database but wasn't able to find a Hunt by any of the names given. My Hunts in Autauga Co., AL begin with William Hunt born 12 Dec 1763 and died 1831 in Autauga Co., AL and Jane Lewis died 28 Dec 1840 in Monroe Co., MS. They did have a son, Thomas born 1783-1790 in SC, but he died bef July 1847 in Cherokee Co., GA. The only child who staved in Autauga Co., AL was John Martin Hunt, born 1791 in SC, died 12 Jan 1852 in Autauga Co., AL He had married Martha Bowen on 17 Aug 1817. they had 9 children, 3 of their children married 3 Weaver siblings. One of these marriages was William Ross Weaver and Malinda Hunt, my 2nd great grandparents. Let me know if you can find any more information. Must be a different line. My line goes back to Henry Hunt from NC who settled in Autauga Co in 1824. He was married to Sara Burt. The information I'm seeking is new to me, so I have little to go on. Apparantly my great uncle knew of the three half aunts and unlce, but no one was close to them. My mother said she never knew of the second marriage of her g-grandfather, much less the three children from the marriage. I'll hit the archives, next, and see if it provides any further information.
