Mr. Black is a descendant of the Stoudenmire, Golsan and many other families in Autauga Co. It appears that in the mid 1800's some of the Stoudenmire and Golsons removed to Salt Lake City. I recently became aware of the Mormom presence in Autauga Co. Mr. Black composed the Golson genealogy which is available from the Mormon Library. So entitled - Golson genealogy That is a very good source, contains information on many Autauga families. In his book are many families and their allied branches mentioned. I find it strange that only a few families were listed in the article you alluded to. Suggest some of you may wish to peruse this book. It is on the shelves of many genealogical libraries. I know it is in Tutwiler Collection, Bham BPL. Would expect that it would be in the Al Archives & History.
