Scott they were both from Near Chapel Hill, Orange County, North Carolina and moved down into Georgia. They were of Scotch, English and Irish descent. they had 3 daughters Rebecca Scott who married James Goodson, Mary Scott who married Thomas Smith and Annie Scott who married William Jackson. and 1 son James Mitchell Scott who married Ruth Showmake. I am trying to findout if Ruth Showmake is of Creek Indian descent.
