Surnames: Sanford Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/pR.2ADE/896 Message Board Post: I'm looking for anyone connected with these names.Will Sanford born 1886,His wife Gertrude(last name unknown)born 1897,Their children,Marvin Ernest Sanford.He was born in the 1920's,and died in 1987 in Montgomery,Al,Clyde Elmer Sanford,died in 1940.Agnes Sanford,Raymond Earl Sanford born May 16,1920,died 1969 in San Luis Obispo(Men's Colony Prison).They are all buried in Oakhill Cemetary in Autauga County except Raymond.My daddy was told when he was small that his Sanford line came to Alabama in the early 1800's from Georgia and was the original founders of Autauga.I have no Idea who these people are.I have never met any of my Sanford line.My grandfather was Raymond Sanford who left my dad when he was young.My dad never knew any of his Sanford line either.He just knew a couple of things that my grandmother told him.My daddy died in 1997.He always wondered what happened to his father Raymond.It was after my daddy's death that I found out Raymond had died in prison..If you ha! ve any information on this line,please email me at [email protected] Thanks
