Dear Stephen, I am also a descendent of Burkett Thompson of Autuaga Co, Al. His daughter, Idella P Thompson married William Wadsworth of Autauga. They were my ggrandparents. I am really interested in where you fit in the line. I have been researching Burkett for a long time and haven`t been able to prove who his parents were. Let me hear more from you and if I can share some things I will be glad to. I don`t think that Andrew Jackson Thompson was a son of Burkett but I haven`t been able to prove whose he is. Susan O`Neal was one of Burketts daughters. I think she married before Burkett died in 1852 or around that time. I do have copies of the estate records on Burket and will look them up if this would be of help to you. I hope we can work together and make some progress on this family. Burket was married to Lydia Mixon in Montgomery Co, Al in 1823. I do have a good bit on the Mixon line I could share.
