My POU family married into the GOLSON family. The first POU was Gavin,who came from Scotland to Orangeburgh,SC in 1740.He married Margaret MURENO,the cousin of his mother,Ursulla.They had a son,William Lewis POU,SR.,who was the father of William Lewis POU,JR.Jr's son was Henry Patrick POU,his son was William Henry POU[who lived in Autauga and joined the military from there].His son was Henry Clarence POU,my maternal grandfather...the father of Ann Lillian POU,my mother. I have about 30 notebooks on this family...I'm 70 and have been "digging up bones" for many years.Your POUs aren't familiar to me,however I will try to find some info on them for you... blessings, Marjory in SC
