Tom, I guess what the experts say is really true-our ancestors relocated with families from the same area. E. P. ROBINSON and wife Hardenia also moved to TX about that same year (1869). They had lost most everything following the war and headed west to join other members of the family; first in Houston/Galveston area, then here in Austin. Enoch Poor ROBINSON had migrated to Autauga Co, AL from NH-married in GA and had a manufactoring plant of some sort in Lowndes Co next to Autauga. Some of their known friends were the PRATTS and SMITHS. Do you know of any other families that moved with your WILSONS? EP and Hardenia died in TX, but their bodies were shipped by train back to Autauga Co, AL where they were buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. Thanks for your information.
