Also, need information on their parents' names, they were born in SC, I know descendants of Lazarus still live in Autauga, Mrs. Boor showed my parents where Lazarus is buried. Many years ago, an older family member had the family tree, so this research was already done, John Harmon Davis" wife, Tursa Devonia Davis and son George Baker Davis moved to Colbert County, Alabama after the Civil War, if you know anymore information (or already have the family tree) please contact me, also relatives of Lazarus (Parolee family) or any connected branch of the Davis family can please contact me, I know there is a Davis Family reunion in April at a church in Jones, Alabama. Another note from the List Administrator: As the cigarette postings show, there are all sorts of trash moving around the net these days. These particular postings came through the message board, where the postings are automatically sent to the list. As soon as I saw them, I deleted them from the board. I always delete questionable postings from the message board as soon as I see them. Don't assume that I see them the same time as some of you, though; so please don't hesitate to send me a note pointing out a bad posting. Sometimes I get behind on my email. In the case of spam postings directly to the list, I usually just ignore them, since there isn't much I can do to stop them, and they don't hang around. Please be patient with those kinds of junk email. He was born between 1805 -1815. I know He lived in Georgia, raised his family there and is buried there.There were alot of Vinings who left Ga and went to TX, LA, OK, MISS, ALA. I have been searching for his parents and brothers and sisters for several years now to no avail. I think sometimes Im on the right track with Owen but then I cannot find proof of anything. There are alot of John's. Williams, and Robert Vinings, but I dont ever see an Owen Vining. No one seems to have a child named Owen Vining either. Its like he was adopted or just appeared out of nowhere. I have found some land deeds and land lottery information on Owen Vining, but I want to know who his Parents were......Does anyone outhere have an Owen Vining in their ancestory anywhere? ? Thanks.
