Surnames: Boon Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/pR.2ADE/1449 Message Board Post: I am searching for the Kinchen Boon family (wife Rebecca) that lived in Autauga from 1828 until abt 1835. One of their sons was killed when a tree fell on him and family tradition says Kinchen (possibly Daniel) was killed by Indians Some of the possible children are: Warren, Kinchen Porter, Britton, David, William Francis, Benjamin. This is very much a work in progress and is all circumstantial, and would be grateful for any information that might shed a light on this! Thanks!

    1. Rogers-Vincent Bible Record
    2. Joanne Gokey
    3. O. K. Troops, I tried to scan the record to individuals who requested. I am having a scanner problem just now. I was able to scan some of it. Then in a test message, some of your servers rejected my message and "daemon" returned.... Also, it has come to my attention that many servers will not accept attachments. At times my own does not allow me to send. I am awaiting getting on DSL which has not been been instituted on my street yet. I am in the process of trying to identify the individual on the Autauga web who will place this record on the web site so all can see if needed. Hope not to be long about this! There has been a great deal of interest. Keep posted! Joanne Whetstone Gokey

I will keep the names of those who are interested and scan to you privately for the reason mentioned above. I am not related to these families; I just happened to have access to the Bible record as my cousin was related to this set of people. Cheers! Joanne Whetstone Gokey

Surnames: Rogers, Rodgers, Hill, Rhymes/Rimes, Comer Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/pR.2ADE/1445.1 Message Board Post: I am looking for a relationship between Rebecca Rogers/Rodgers Hill who was married to Thomas Hill. She was "related to the Rhymes and they were related to the Comers. The Rogers were probably in Wilkes County ca 1790's and then when the county lines changed I can't say. Rebecca and Thomas were probably married ca 1880, perhaps in NC. I believe Thomas's father was Abner Hill of Wilkes County and his brother was named Robert who later ended up in Warren County, GA. Issac was a named used in some connections. Thomas and Rebecca moved to Autauga County in 1818 and from what I can tell the Rogers were also in the county very early. Perhaps they were related to Rebecca Rogers Hill but I've never found any connection. Please look in the Bible for any names that I've mentioned. Thanks. Kay
