    2. Received my September 125 UDC magazine right on time, here in Calhoun County Alabama. It is a beautiful edition and I am enjoying it along with my 100th edition from 1994. There was plenty of advance notice given to this issue because of all the extra work it took as UDC chapters across America worked on their ads  and articles. UDC members who do not subscribe to the magazine were also given instructions on how to order that special issue if they wanted to receive one. A call to HQ and a conversation with the Magazine Editor, Sonya Eason, explained that by law, all bulk mail has a maximum of 20 working days to be delivered after it reaches its local USPO destination. Richmond sent out ALL the 125th Year magazines by bulk mail on Sept. 17. If your USPO branch received the magazines in bulk on, let's say Sept. 20, then the maximum 20 working days from that day, taking Columbus Day (Oct. 12) into consideration, the 20th day should fall on Oct. 21, this coming Monday. Sonya also said that some USPO's deliver quicker than others. She also said that if your magazine subscription has lapsed, a copy will cost you $30.00 up until National Convention, then more if any are left over after that. So, if your subscription is still in force, and you don't have your magazine by Oct. 21, you can contact her and have one mailed to you. 3. Pat, when did the 125th Magazine come out? I have not received one. Was this a special ordered magazine/ Susan On Monday, October 14, 2019, 4:06:29 PM CDT, Patricia S. The one at the top.the engraving reads: MC GOODLETT...I wonder if that error was caught at the time it was given to her.the initials are transposed.her name was Caroline Meriwether Goodlett.so it should have been engraved as "CM GOODLETT". 3. Pat, Since Caroline Meriwether Goodlet’s grandson was named Meriwether Lewis Baxter, he may have wanted the Meriwether name to be first being her maiden name and of the famous explorer, Meriwether Lewis, their relative. She descended from Nicholas Meriwether I who came to VA from England in the 1600’s. Meriwether would be a namesake for Caroline Meriwether Goodlet and her Grandson, Meriwether Lewis Baxter. Thus, Meriwether name more famous than Goodlet, her husband’s name. This is my theory being from a family of Meriwether’s and descending from Nicholas Meriwether I as well. By the way, Mary Louise Phillips Lamm in your Chapter is also related to Caroline Meriwether Goodlet and Meriwether Lewis! 3. Hi Donna!  Thanks for the reminder message! I appreciate your diligence.  I have a question regarding prizes. We are going to offer 4 prizes  again this year. One of the prizes for the Cemetery Records Committee went unawarded at this past convention. I would like to 'roll over' that $25.00 for a prize for this year, worded slightly differently. Is that ok? And may I submit the money for the other 3 prizes in one check, or do you want three separate checks?  Thanks for the information, I plan to mail the forms and money to you on Monday, October 7th.
