    1. [ALAUDC] Mean spirited comments
    2. My answer to comments made by MEH ... > Date: Tue, 19 Feb 2019 Dear MEH, Personally, after your negative comments on this list, I don't see that there is room in AL-UDC for such a mean spirited attitude from you or any others toward our members & leaders. All are human and often move at a pace that may, or may not, satisfy others who are not presently 'walking in our shoes'. We are all volunteers here, hopefully dedicated to working together to preserve the honor and the heritage of our beloved Confederate Ancestors. Such nebulous attacks on the Division President, are surely no way to 'win friends & influence people' either. As the Division President, Suzanna does a fantastic job! She is full of energy, and is capable of showing love for her heritage in whatever organization she chooses to be a member of; and she knows how to get her job for AL-UDC done quickly and efficiently. So, let's give her credit where it's due, and not strive with each other, but ultimately work toward the positive goal of strengthening her role and thus the success she contributes to being the President of this Division. 3. I posted the information on this listing after Winter Board as with the weather I was unable to give my presentation at Winter Board AND as you recall we spoke about this several weeks before and there is no change. General is still working out details with the new vendor. I will update membership here and ask that the forms a d manual be put on our Division website behind the firewallwhen the details are settled. My # is available in the yearbook if anyone else has specific questions. I assume since you spoke with General you have your answer MAE. I want to order my own marker, as do some others, so I am just as anxious as others for the ordering to be back up and running. By the way, Suzanna is doing a wonderful job as Division President. We here in Alabama see it firsthand. 1. [ALAUDC] FW: Birmingham cannot remove Confederate Monument Alabama Supreme Court rules
    2. Patricia S. Godwin
    3. This saga continues.the enemy will not rest until that monument is removed. Again, I want to reiterate, I have heard that "they" want to construct a "lynching memorial" at Linn Park like that farce in Montgomery! A $20 million dollar boondoggle.they like to interpret "lynching" as only done to blacks! All a white man had to do was steal a horse and he was hung from the nearest tree!!!! Just like picking cotton.it was NOT just blacks that picked cotton! If my mother were alive she sure could attest to that fact! Just like she could tell you that had it not been for the black folks & white folks helping each other during the GREAT depression, EVERYONE in their community would have starved to death! The Lincoln lie and the objectives of his administration continues to permeate this country! They want racial dissention and they have it .at least on the national scene but on the local scene in our vast rural communities EVERYONE gets along! But the ignorant busy body Yankees just don't want to face that facts! They don't want to be confused by the TRUTH!!! The Yankee definition of Hell is: "Having to mind one's own business"! 1. [ALAUDC] NBF District Meeting
    2. Thanks for the NBF Dist. Meeting notice... We're so sorry that Eleanor & her husband have serious health problems ! Many Blessings for their improved health & happiness. FYI, the message didn't translate as usual thru the List's computer @ Rootsweb. Not sure about others, but all I got was a long, garbled list of unreadable computer code. Have a wonderful meeting, Martha 667 > On February 13, 2019 at 11:57 AM alaudc-request@rootsweb.com wrote: > > > Send ALAUDC mailing list submissions to alaudc@rootsweb.com > > To subscribe via email send a message with subject subscribe and body > subscribe to alaudc-request@rootsweb.com > > To unsubscribe via email send a message with subject unsubscribe and > body unsubscribe to alaudc-request@rootsweb.com > > You can reach the person managing the list at > alaudc-owner@rootsweb.com > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of ALAUDC digest..." > > This is a private e-mail list for members of the Ala.
