    2. Ladies, I am trying to free up some space in my overcrowded closets by offering to sell some items that are not the type I'd usually give to a charity.  I've made two posts so far on my Facebook page, Lynda Thrower Lowery, and will be adding more.  I'll probably add some hats later this week.  If you take a look, keep checking back for more items to be made available.  I have changed these posts from private to public on my Facebook page if you care to take a look at what's available.  Except for blocked Facebook users, everyone else should be able to see these posts that I've now made public. Thanks,   Lynda Lowery

    3. Thank you. I have studied most of that but nothing suggests a deadline for the type of award I'm giving; I should have put a deadline on it to begin with but didn't. It's #22 on page 54. I will use the deadline for essays and original works. June 15. I guess they should send the numbers to me????? I am new at this. Thank you again, Lucy ________________________________ From: dpclark44@gmail.com <dpclark44@gmail.com> Sent: Tuesday, April 2, 2019 6:07 PM To: 'This is a private list for members of the Alabama Division of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.' Subject: [ALAUDC] Re: question about prize awards If you would like to offer money and prize topics, they are due 30 days after the close of the Division Convention - usually mid-October. If you are entering one of the contest for a prize, you will find due dates on pages 9 through 14. For example, Division and General member essays must be sent to the Division Historian by June 15. You can also look through these pages and find other due dates such as reports, etc. if you would like the rules for essays or some other award, you may want to look on page 283 and 284 in the index. If you have any specific question I will be happy to try to answer it. 3. Those prizes have already been awarded at convention. I think you can make another prize request to be done between now and upcoming convention do be awarded in Atlanta. This is done in a personal level. Not from the chapter and is usually around 15.00 but not more than 25.00 for a specific responsibility like volunteering, most apps in a year, etc. On April 2, 2019, at 5:57 PM, Lucy and Charles McGuffey <mcguffey@live.com> wrote: When are prize awards due (like the ones on pages 54 and 55 of the Yearbook)?
