I first found my g-grandfather Henry Jacoby when he married his wife Teresa Goldstucker on 1 April 1850 in Mobile. I think I have him arriving New York from Germany on Bark CONDOR on 9-30-1843 but haven't been able to find out how either one got to Mobile or when they arrived - any help? 2. They were listed in 1850 census in Marengo enumerated with a Marshall family on a farm. Not listed in 1860 census index but I did happen to find him in the 1860 census by himself in the Mobile waterfront area. The family is in the 1870 census in Mobile but Teresa died in childbirth that year and is buried in the old Jewish section of Magnolia Cemetery. Sincerely appreciate any info. Will be making a visit to Mobile the first week in June 99. Thanks much. Henry Jacoby --------------4E595DC6321F0945D29D2D66--
