Hi All, I am trying to find some kind of birth record for my Grandfather. I spoke with the very nice Gentleman at the vital statistics office and he told me that in the 1800s they did not have a place on the birth certificate for the child's name. Only the Mother and Fathers. He also said that it would say the year.Well,they can't seem to find anyone by the name of GEORGE WALLACE ALLMAN born in 1872 in Mobile. Nor do they have the other ALLMAN'S that I have. I know that I have the right Allmans and the right place because I have spoke with the families and I have the obits and have found them in the Pine Crest Cemetery.Please will someone let me know how I can find out if GEORGE WALLACE ALLMAN was born to MICHEAL CHARLES ALLMAN and EUNICE A JOINER (ALLMAN) June 6th 1872 in Mobile. Any help would be appreciated. I have Michael on the 1870 census in Mobile but George was not born yet. Thanks Patty
